Foundation Art Divvy established Art Divvy Conversations in 2020 in order to encourage more scholarship on and easy access to contemporary South Asian art and cultural practices. This is a series of online recorded conversations with practitioners across South Asia and its diaspora. The objective is to preserve artistic practices and build an easily accessible primary research archive. These conversations have been conducted on Instagram live – in real time – and are then uploaded on Foundation Art Divvy’s public Instagram account and eventually on our YouTube account. The series includes approximately 100 conversations and counting. We are now beginning to add archaeologists and anthropologists to this series.
