She lives and works in Islamabad. Riaz is an interdisciplinary artist, art editor and curator. She received her BFA from National College of Arts (2011). Over the years, Riaz has worked as Lecturer and Curator for a few universities and art galleries. She is also serving on the editorial team of Paper cuts as Art Editor. Paper cuts is a biannual magazine by Desi Writers Lounge which is an internationally acclaimed venture run by a team of highly efficient writers, authors and artists from South Asia. Riaz is a contributing writer to many other art and culture ventures.

My comment is on how the divergence from one space to another works, and how, within us, fragments of each encounter manifest in behavioral changes
